Workshop and Retreat Essentials:Training Essentials Teleseminar Program

The Training Essentials teleseminar program, started in October 2004, has been taken by over 100 coaches and trainers from across North America and as far away as New Zealand.

This train-the-trainer teleseminar is an interactive, hands-on one month program designed to support coaches, HR Professionals and other independent professionals to design and implement their own workshop or retreat programs.

The program will support you to:
  • Create powerful, interactive workshops or retreats based on adult learning principles;
  • Design Your Own Program – whether it’s one hour, half a day or several days;
  • Select Engaging Exercises to Use with Teams and Groups
  • Acquire Marketing Tips and Ideas for Your Program

It will also answer all those questions you have about workshops and retreats, but didn't know where to ask!

By the end of the program you will have created:

  •  Your Workshop or Retreat Design – Content, Exercises and Everything else you Need to Run Your Program
  • An Evaluation structure

As well as….

  • Developed a Logistical Plan to ensure the smooth flow of your workshop or retreat
  • Acquired Marketing Tips to make your workshop or retreat a success!

The program includes:
  •  Two one on one telephone meetings – pre and post course to discuss your particular learning and support needs, and to provide accountability
  • The Training Essentials Manual - 80 Pages
  •  Five 75 minute Teleclasses including a group follow up call one month after the end of the main program to discuss as a group your successes, questions and learning!
  • Lazer Coaching Support from Jennifer as needed during the length of the program

Week 2 – Essentials of Designing Workshops and Retreats

Week 3 - Essentials of Running and Marketing Workshops and Retreats

Week 4 – A Toolbox of Training Exercises (which you can apply immediately!)

Week 5 - Integration and Optional Topics

The fifth session is shaped by the interests of the group. Past fifth sessions have covered webinar tips, tips for virtual learning (phone/web) as well as engagement strategies.
